L'idée première, c'était de l'imprimer sur des T-shirts, mais j'ai tout de suite eu envie d'en faire un plat ou une assiette ! Le format se prêtait à un plat à cake, alors, en avant :
The first idea was to paint it on a T-shirt, but I couldn't wait to have it on a dish or a plate ! It was well fitted to a cake dish, so... Here we are :
J'ai d'abord fait un premier dessin à la plume, en noir et or (le rouge, c'est la peinture or avant cuisson, en fait)
I first drew it with a nib, in black and gold (the red is in fact the gold paint before heating)
Après ça, on passe à la peinture des personnages, mais le noir n'est pas la couleur la plus facile sur porcelaine, il y a donc deux couches et deux cuissons.
And then, I painted the characters in black. It's not the easier color in porcelain painting, I had to make two layers and cook it twice.
Et voilà !
